Why Su-prose? "Su" in Sanskrit is a prefix for "good". This is a place where we will discuss and analyze prose (with a South Asian Connection) - that which is good, awesome, excellent, and maybe rant about prose that could be better.

Indira Ganesan is a writer making a name for herself in the world of South Asian fiction. She is the author of As Sweet As Honey her newest novel and two other works of fiction, Inheritance, and The Journey. Her shorts stories and essays have appeared in several prominent literary journals. She is a graduate of the Iowa writers workshop.She has taught fiction writing at the University of Missouri; the University of California at San Diego and Santa Cruz; Southampton College, LIU; Lesley University; New College of California; the University of Colorado, Boulder; Naropa University,. She currently teaches at Emerson College in Boston, Massachussetts.
